I am a PhD student at the University of Bremen, working in the Laser Measurement Group of the Department of Process Technology. You are invited to use this hypertext page as a link to my company on laser measurements to profit from my support concerning the following themes:

Topics of My Work

  • Hardware development and optimiziation of phase Doppler anemometers (PDAs) and similar techniques useful for particle measurements

  • Advice of our scientists working on laser measurements

  • Simulations of light scattering processes with incident laser beams (Gaussian beams) by an extension of a program of C. Hafner which is based on the multiple multipole method (MMP). MMP belongs to the generalized multipole techniques (GMTs) and has more flexibility than Mie theory, related to particle shape. You can download an example of a sphere moving through a laser beam:
  • View the MPEG-sequence!
Information about MPEG encoding is available here.
  • Imaging of 2D-results and image analysis
  • Concerning my PhD thesis, I am working on multiple scattering effects to a PDA-measurement system caused by two spherical particles.
