5th International Congress
on Optical Particle Sizing
The 5th Congress on Optical Particle Sizing is planned to be held in Minneapolis,
Minnesota on August 11-14,1998. Since 1987 this conference series has
attracted scientists and engineers from a broad spectrum of fields with
one common interest- the use of optical means to characterize particles.
At the 1998 meeting, we intend to cover a variety of topics including :
- single scattering for size measurement of spherical and non-sperical particles
- measurement of the properties other than size
- multiple scattering
- dynamic light scattering
- scattering by particles on surfaces
- inelastic scattering
